8th MEDICAL CHARITY RUN

7 editions of the race

So far, we have managed to support the Psychiatric Clinic, Neonatology Clinic, Oncology Center, Pediatric Surgery Clinic, Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Clinic, as well as the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Children's and Adolescents' Clinic. The proceeds from this year's 8th edition will go to the Department of Pediatric Intensive Care at the Children's and Adolescents' Clinic of the University Hospital Martin.

The Martin Charity Run is organized by students from the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University. All proceeds from the event will be directed towards various pediatric clinics at the University Hospital Martin.

5 Km

Since its inception, the heart of the Martinský medikov run has been the 5 km race. It is open to anyone, regardless of fitness level, who wants to support themselves and the pediatric clinics at UNM.

Start from within yourself and be a motivation for others, showing that health is one of the priorities.

The race takes place on asphalt, is flat, undemanding, and suitable even for walking.

10 Km

A novelty of the 7th edition will be the 10 km race, providing an opportunity for those who want more.

The route will pass through the center of Martin and then continue through the fields towards the university dormitory, along the river, to the Tomčany airport, and back through the main square. You will be surrounded by pure nature, tranquility, and yourself. This is simply something you want to experience!

The race is a combination of asphalt and trail, mostly flat.

Distances: 300m/600m/1000m

Children's races will also be a part of the event. Our goal is to promote health, sports, and support.

The races will be non-competitive. The aim is to motivate individuals to do things for themselves, their health, and to appreciate each effort equally. With us, there is no first or last. Everyone is a winner!
